Expert puppeteers from Vietnam use an 800-year-old art form to make fairies dance and fiery dragons seethe - all inside an elaborate set immersed in water. The Jabali African Acrobats from Kenya build sky-high human pyramids and dance under a flaming limbo bar. Peru's Hugo and Ines combine mime and puppetry to create a parade of colourful characters composed of knees, elbows and even belly buttons. The genius of the Rotary Okanagan International Children's Festival which will bring these amazing acts to this year's event, is that it features artists from around the world to help build bridges and tear down cultural misunderstanding, fear and distrust for people of all ages. Besides the shows and lively music, the festival includes hands-on activities that pack a lot of learning into fun - when's the last time you walked through a 50-foot dragon and were part of the story?

We invite you to join us on a wild and wonderful adventure into the world of music, theatre, dance, storytelling, circus arts and lots of hands-on fun!
